Abstract In large river basins, the nitrogen (N) cycle is largely regulated by complicated interactions between human and natural elements. Nevertheless, the origins, fate and driving forces of reactive nitrogen (Nr) flows in the basins are still not clear. An estimation model of N flux was established for evaluating the Nr flow and its environmental effects in the Yellow River Basin of Henan Province (HYRB) by means of material flow analysis. Total N input and output of HYRB were calculated at 4090.9 and 3948.8 Gg N yr

Abstract At the early stage of a major public health emergency outbreak, there exists an imbalance between supply and demand in the distribution of emergency supplies. To improve the efficiency of emergency medical service equipment and relieve the treatment pressure of each medical treatment point, one of the most important factors is the emergency medical equipment logistics distribution. Based on the actual data of medical equipment demand during the epidemic and the characteristics of emergencies, this study proposed an evaluation index system for emergency medical equipment demand point urgency, based on the number of patients, the number of available inpatient beds, and other influencing factors as the index. An urban emergency medical equipment distribution model considering the urgency of demand, the distribution time window, and vehicle load was constructed with the constraints. Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, at the beginning of the outbreak was selected as a validation example, and the Criteria Importance Though Intercriteria Correlation (CRITIC) method and the genetic algorithm were used to simulate and validate the model with and without considering the demand urgency. The results show that under the public health emergencies, the distribution path designed to respond to different levels of urgency demand for medical equipment is the most efficient path and reduces the total distribution cost by 5%.

Abstract The temporal action localization research aims to discover action instances from untrimmed videos, representing a fundamental step in the field of intelligent video understanding. With the advent of deep learning, backbone networks have been instrumental in providing representative spatiotemporal features, while the end-to-end learning paradigm has enabled the development of high-quality models through data-driven training. Both supervised and weakly supervised learning approaches have contributed to the rapid progress of temporal action localization, resulting in a multitude of methods and a large body of literature, making a comprehensive survey a pressing necessity. This paper presents a thorough analysis of existing action localization works, offering a well-organized taxonomy that highlights the strengths and weaknesses of each strategy. In the realm of supervised learning, in addition to the anchor mechanism, we introduce a novel classification mechanism to categorize and summarize existing works. Similarly, for weakly supervised learning, we extend the traditional pre-classification and post-classification mechanisms by providing a fresh perspective on enhancement strategies. Furthermore, we shed light on the bottleneck of confidence estimation, a critical yet overlooked aspect of current works. By conducting detailed analyses, this survey serves as a valuable resource for researchers, providing beneficial guidance to newcomers and inspiring seasoned researchers alike.

Abstract Single starter can hardly improve the volatile flavor of fermented fish surimi. In this study, the changes of volatile compounds (VCs) and microbial composition during cooperative fermentation of Latilactobacillus sakei and Pediococcus acidilactici were studied by headspace solid-phase microextraction gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and 16S rRNA gene high-throughput sequencing. During cooperative fermentation, most VCs and the abundance of Latilactobacillus and Lactococcus significantly increased, while Pediococcus, Acinetobacter, and Macrococcus obviously decreased. After evaluation of correlation and abundance of each genus, Latilactobacillus and Lactococcus possessed the highest influence on the formation of volatile flavor during cooperative fermentation. Compared with the natural fermentation, cooperative fermentation with starters significantly enhanced most of pleasant core VCs (odor activity value≥1), but inhibited the production of trimethylamine and methanethiol, mainly resulting from the absolutely highest influence of Latilactobacillus. Cooperative fermentation of starters is an effective method to improve the volatile flavor in the fermented tilapia surimi.

Abstract Objective To evaluate the performance of myPKFiT,a tool guiding the dosing of antihemophilic factor (recombinant) plasma/albumin-free method (rAHF-PFM),in maintaining the coagulation factor Ⅷ (FⅧ) level above a target threshold at the steady state and estimating the pharmacokinetics (PK) parameters in hemophilia A patients in China. Methods The data of 9 patients with severe hemophilia A in a trial (CTR20140434) assessing the safety and efficacy of rAHF-PFM in the Chinese patients with hemophilia A were analyzed. The myPKFiT was used to predict the adequate dose to maintain a patient's FⅧ level above target threshold at the steady state.Furthermore, the performance of myPKFiT in estimating the pharmacokinetics parameters of individuals was evaluated. Results Twelve combinations of two dosing intervals and six sparse sampling schedules were investigated, and 57%-88% of the patients remained the FⅧ level above the target threshold of 1 U/dl (1%) for at least 80% of the dosing interval. The clearance and time to FⅧ level of 1% obtained from sparse sampling by myPKFiT were similar to those obtained from extensive sampling. Conclusions The myPKFiT can provide adequate dose estimates to maintain the FⅧ level above the target threshold at the steady state in Chinese patients with severe hemophilia A.Moreover,it demonstrates good performance for estimating key pharmacokinetics parameters, including clearance and time to FⅧ level of 1%.

Abstract Tent bone augmentation technology, including the tenting screw technique, autogenous cortical bone tenting technique and implant tent-pole technique, has recently been considered as a type of bone augmentation method to solve serious alveolar bone deficiency. The tenting screw technique is simple to perform and widely used in clinical practice; it can effectively increase bone in both horizontal and vertical directions in local bone defect areas with fewer complications than other techniques. The autogenous cortical bone tenting technique is mainly used for bone augmentation in large bone defect areas. The operation is relatively simple, but it needs to be combined with partial autogenous bone grafting, with high technical sensitivity and complications. The implant tent-pole technique is the most complex method and is mainly used for bone augmentation in severe alveolar ridge absorption areas of the mandible. The maximum vertical bone augmentation height can be obtained by combining this method with autogenous bone grafting, and the number of postoperative complications is relatively high. This article reviews recent research on the application of this technique to repair various alveolar bone defects in order to provide reference for clinical implant treatment.

Abstract This paper presents a deep learning-based spectral demosaicing technique trained in an unsupervised manner. Many existing deep learning-based techniques relying on supervised learning with synthetic images, often underperform on real-world images, especially as the number of spectral bands increases. This paper presents a comprehensive unsupervised spectral demosaicing (USD) framework based on the characteristics of spectral mosaic images. This framework encompasses a training method, model structure, transformation strategy, and a well-fitted model selection strategy. To enable the network to dynamically model spectral correlation while maintaining a compact parameter space, we reduce the complexity and parameters of the spectral attention module. This is achieved by dividing the spectral attention tensor into spectral attention matrices in the spatial dimension and spectral attention vector in the channel dimension. This paper also presents Mosaic 25 , a real 25-band hyperspectral mosaic image dataset featuring various objects, illuminations, and materials for benchmarking purposes. Extensive experiments on both synthetic and real-world datasets demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms conventional unsupervised methods in terms of spatial distortion suppression, spectral fidelity, robustness, and computational cost. Abstract This paper aims to reduce friction pair erosion of the clutch in the case of continuous shift; the dynamic separation process of the friction pair is investigated. The temperature of the friction pair, friction torque, and separation speed in the separation process are taken as the research objects, and the dynamics simulation model and finite element thermal coupling simulation model of the clutch separation process are established. The nonlinear dynamic separation characteristics of the friction pair are investigated by comparing and analyzing the effects of control parameters such as rotational speed difference, damping ratio, and lubricant viscosity on the friction torque, friction pair separation speed, separation gap, and contact stress during the separation process. The gap recovery coefficient is proposed as a response indicator for observing the separation process in response to the inability to observe the nonlinear dynamic motion of the friction pair during the separation process and to measure the end time of the separation. Finally, the clutch was subjected to a separation test. The results show that the proposed gap recovery coefficient accurately describes the separation process. The simulation model can simulate the clutch's separation and predict the trend of separation parameters.
