Abstract Exploring the driving factors of changing ecosystem services is critical for supply capacity maintaining and ecological management zoning. Xinjiang of Northwest China, is considered one of the most fragile ecological environment areas. However, studies on how ecosystem services’ driving forces respond to the environmental conditions of Xinjiang are still insufficient, especially in sub–regions with considerable spatial heterogeneity. Based on 106 counties across Xinjiang, we employed models of the Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs (InVEST) and Revised Wind Erosion Equation (RWEQ) to quantify four essential ecosystem services (carbon storage, habitat quality, and sand fixation and water yield). Then, we investigated the spatial distribution of four ecosystem services and drivers at the county scale in 2020 by using multi–scale geographically weighted regression (MGWR). The results showed that the spatial distribution of ecosystem services is higher in the north and lower in the south, and hotspots and high–value ecosystem services areas were consistent. Precipitation, temperature, and fractional vegetation cover were the dominant factors influencing the four ecosystem services. Therefore, regulating climate and increasing vegetation will maximize the improvement of regional ecosystem services in Xinjiang. Significant differences exist in the counties of the type, intensity, and direction of ecosystem services drivers. The correlation between carbon storage, habitat quality and fractional vegetation cover was more robust stronger in the south. Water yield was more closely related to fractional vegetation cover in southern Xinjiang. Under different ecological and social conditions, the impact of driving forces on ecosystem services showed different changing trends. Three suggestions for improving ecosystem services management were proposed based on our results. The comparative analysis of the driving factors of county ecosystem services in this study will help to formulate differentiated ...

Abstract BackgroundElectronic health records (EHR) is the longitudinal data generated by patients in medical institutions and recorded by electronic medical information systems in the form of digital, which is also the most widespread application of big data in medicine. The purpose of this study was to explore the application of electronic health records in the field of nursing and determine the current research status and hotspots.MethodsA bibliometric analysis of electronic health records in nursing was undertaken from 2000 to 2020. The literature comes from Web of Science Core Collection database. We used CiteSpace (version 5.7 R5; Drexel University), which is a Java-based software that especially visualized collaborative networks and research topics.ResultsA total of 2616 publications were included in the study. We found that publications increased year by year. The Journal of American Medical Informatics Association (n = 921) is the most cited. The United States (n = 1,738) has the most publications in this field. University Penn (n = 63) is the institution with the most publications. There is no influential cooperation network among the authors, of which Bates, David W (n = 12) have the largest number of publications. The relevant publications also focus on the fields of health care science and services, and medical informatics. In keywords, EHR, long-term care, mobile application, inpatient falls, and advance care planning has been researching hotspots in recent years.ConclusionWith the popularization of information systems, the publications of EHR in the nursing field have increased year by year. This study provides the basic structure, potential cooperation, and research trends of EHR in the field of nursing from 2000 to 2020, and provides a reference for nurses to effectively use EHR to help clinical work or scientific researchers explore the potential significances of EHR.

Abstract The informalization and automation of the present power system have important influences on the smooth operation of power stations and systems. The construction of the innovation cloud service platform could help manage the power enterprise. Three components including data center, monitoring system, and decision support system are established to realize the functions of data sharing, intelligent management, and remote support. Through the establishment of the innovation cloud service platform, the whole efficiency and effectiveness of the power enterprise can be enhanced, which helps the smooth operation of the power stations and systems.

Abstract Rainstorms are one of the frequent natural disasters which have significant impact on agricultural production and people’s lives. Considering the comprehensive influence of various factors on the rainstorm events, this study extracts four elements of rainstorms in the Liaoning Province based on meteorological data collected between 1957 and 2015. Combined four elements of rainstorms by copula function, the cumulative probability of the rainstorm events and the probability of their return period can be analysed. The results show that the joint return period of multiple factors combination is less than the return period of a single factor. The degree of accuracy of the joint return period is higher, which is consistent with the actual situation. During periods of 5, 10, 20, and 50 years, the occurrence probability varies according to the idea ‘the central region is higher, while the eastern and western regions are lower’. Special attention must be paid to the low values of the region in future rainstorm disaster prevention and mitigation work. Based on return periods, the agricultural risk grade can be divided into 5 levels. In ascending order, they are level I (Fuxin, Shenyang, Tieling), II (Dalian, Jinzhou, Panjin, Liaoyang), III (Huludao, Fushun), IV (Chaoyang, Yingkou, Anshan, Benxi), and V (Dandong).

Abstract The rise of the Internet of Things has led to an explosion of sensor computing platforms. The complexity and applications of IoT devices range from simple devices in vending machines to complex, interactive artificial intelligence in smart vehicles and drones. Developers target more aggressive objectives and protect market share through feature differentiation; they just choose between low-cost, and low-performance CPU-based systems, and high-performance custom platforms with hardware accelerators including GPUs and FPGAs. Both CPU-based and custom designs introduce a variety of design challenges: extreme pressure on time-to-market, design cost, and development risk drive a voracious demand for new CAD technologies to enable rapid, low cost design of effective IoT platforms with smaller design teams and lower risk. In this article, we present a generic IoT device design flow and discuss platform choices for IoT devices to efficiently tradeoff cost, power, performance and volume constraints: CPU-based systems and custom platforms that contain hardware accelerators including embedded GPUs and FPGAs. We demonstrate this design process through a driving application in computer vision. We also present current critical design automation needs for IoT development and demonstrate how our prior work in CAD for FPGAs and SoCs begin to address these needs.
