Abstract Background: Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) was a particularly aggressive subtype of breast cancer associated with poor prognosis. This retrospective study was conducted to investigate the clinical features, prognostic factors, and benefits of surgery of patients with TNBC.
Methods: From 2010 to 2015, 33654 female patients with TNBC were obtained from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database. The patients were randomly divided into the training and validation cohorts. Univariate and multivariable cox regression were performed to identify prognostic factors, based on which a nomogram was constructed. Validation of the nomogram was assessed by concordance index (c-index) and calibration curves. Survival curves were plotted according to metastatic burdens and risk groups differentiated by nomogram.
Results: Patients of younger age (<65 years old), white race, married status, lower grade, lower TNM stage and primary tumor surgery tended to have better outcome. The C-index and calibration curves displayed high discrimination in the training and validation sets (C-index 0.794 and 0.793, respectively), indicating suitable external performance of the nomogram model. Patients of bone-only metastases as well as bone and liver metastases showed superior cancer-specific survival (CSS) time if surgery of primary tumor was performed. Besides, patients of all risk groups showed better CSS when receiving surgery.
Conclusion: This study provided population-based prognostic analysis in patients with TNBC and constructed a predicting nomogram with a robust discrimination. The findings of potential benefit of surgery to CSS would shed some lights on the treatment tactics of patients with TNBC.

Abstract This paper considers the problem that a depot replenishes several shelters by aerial and land transportation modes for disaster relief. There are two distinguishing features of our problem: one is routing decisions determine replenishment lead times; the other is that we introduce dual sourcing policy into the inventory routing problem. A robust optimization model is proposed to determine the optimal replenishment quantity, replenishment mode, and transportation routes. Then, we decompose the problem into a routing master-problem and a set of inventory sub-problems. A tractable closed-form solution for sub-problem is derived. We further develop an adaptive large neighborhood search algorithm to solve the problem. To demonstrate the feasibility of the algorithm, we conduct a series of numerical experiments on the benchmark test suite with different scales and compare the performance of the proposed algorithm with a genetic algorithm.

Abstract The study of the dynamics of species habitat is of great significance for maintaining or adjusting the current habitat protection management strategy. However, the current research on the Chinese red panda's habitat is limited to the analysis of a single period, which makes it difficult to quantify the changes in its habitat on a temporal scale and greatly hinders the formulation of the overall protection and management strategies that are to be used for the Chinese red panda. This study simulated habitat suitability at different temporal scales to quantify the trend of changes in habitat quality and analyzed the reasons for the changes in habitat suitability in certain regions. The results showed that the overall suitability of the Chinese red panda's habitat increased and that the area of suitable habitats expanded. Abstract Objectives: Achyranthes bidentata Blume (A. bidentata) is a plant of Amaranthaceae family, and its root is the main medicinal part, named "Huai-Niu-Xi." It is used to expel blood stasis through menstruation, tonify liver and kidney, strengthen muscles and bones, and induce diuresis. This review aimed to provide a systematic summary of botany, traditional uses, phytochemistry, pharmacology, and toxicology of A. bidentata.
Methods: The present review covers the literature survey. The data have been collected from various journals, books, and some of the electronic search via Internet-based information such as Web of Science, PubMed, Google Scholar, Google patents, CNKI, SpringerLink, online electronic journals, and ScienceDirect.
Key findings: So far, more than 270 metabolites have been isolated from A. bidentata, including terpenoids, steroids, alkaloids, flavonoids, and so on. Among them, terpenoids and steroids are the main metabolites. The extract and metabolites exert multiple pharmacological activities such as alleviating osteoarthritis effect, antiosteoporosis activity, neuroprotective effect, antidiabetic activity-associated complications, immunoregulatory activity, and so on.
Summary: Some traditional uses of A. bidentata need further in-depth studies to confirm. Similarly, the separation and screening of active compounds, as well as the corresponding molecular mechanisms of action of compounds, are also needed to be studied.

Abstract Purpose: Lung cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Recent studies have shown that circular RNAs are dysregulated in a variety of cancers, but the mechanism in lung cancer is still indistinct. In our work, we explored the action mechanism of circLDLRAD3 in lung cancer.
Methods: The abundance of circLDLRAD3, microRNA-497-5p (miR-497-5p) and platelet-type PFK (PFKP) was measured by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) in lung cancer. Meanwhile, the level of PFKP was quantified by western blot. Cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8), 5-Ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine (EdU) assay, transwell assay, wound healing assay, flow cytometry, western blot, immunohistochemical (IHC) assay and glycolysis metabolism analysis were performed for functional analyses. Furthermore, the interplay between miR-497-5p and circLDLRAD3 or FKPF was detected by the dual-luciferase reporter and RNA Immunoprecipitation (RIP) assays. Eventually, the in vivo experiments were applied to measure the role of circLDLRAD3.
Result: The levels of circLDLRAD3 and PFKP were increased. Silencing circLDLRAD3 inhibited cell viability, proliferation, migration, invasion and glycolysis metabolism and promoted cell apoptosis in lung cancer cells. In mechanism, circLDLRAD3 regulated PFKP level as a miR-497-5p sponge. MiR-497-5p suppressed the progression of lung cancer by inhibiting PFKP. In addition, circLDLRAD3 knockdown also inhibited tumor growth in vivo.
Conclusion: CircLDLRAD3 promoted the development of lung cancer through increasing PFKP expression by regulating miR-497-5p, which also provided a potential targeted therapy for lung cancer treatment.

Abstract Lenticulostriate arteries (LSA) are potentially valuable for studying vascular cognitive impairment. This study aims to investigate correlations between cognitive impairment and LSA through clinical and radiomics features analysis. We retrospectively included 102 patients (mean age 62.5±10.3 years, 60 males), including 58 with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and 44 with moderate or severe cognitive impairment (MSCI). The MRI images of these patients were subjected to z-score preprocessing, manual regions of interest (ROI) outlining, feature extraction (pyradiomics), feature selection [max-relevance and min-redundancy (mRMR), least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO), and univariate analysis], model construction (multivariate logistic regression), and evaluation [receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC), decision curve analysis (DCA), and calibration curves (CC)]. In the training dataset (71 patients, 44 MCI) and the test dataset (31 patients, 17 MCI), the area under curve (AUC) of the combined model (training 0.88 [95% CI 0.78, 0.97], test 0.76 [95% CI 0.6, 0.93]) was better than that of the clinical model and the radiomics model. The DCA results demonstrated the highest net yield of the combined model relative to the clinical and radiomics models. In addition, we found that LSA total vessel count (0.79 [95% CI 0.08, 1.59], P = 0.038) and wavelet.HLH_glcm_MCC (-1.2 [95% CI -2.2, -0.4], P = 0.008) were independent predictors of MCI. The model that combines clinical and radiomics features of LSA can predict MCI. Besides, LSA vascular parameters may serve as imaging biomarkers of cognitive impairment.

Abstract Online laboratories play an important role in engineering education. This work discusses a WebVR-based virtual laboratory system. The user enters the simulated laboratory environment through a virtual reality (VR) device and interacts with the experimental equipment, similar to hands-on experiments in a physical laboratory. In addition, the proposed system allows users to design their own control algorithms and observe the effects of different control parameters to enhance their understanding of the experiment. To illustrate the features of the proposed virtual laboratory, an example is provided in this paper, which is an experiment on a double inverted pendulum system. The experimental results show that the proposed system allows users to conduct experiments in an immersive and interactive manner and provides users with a complete experimental process from principal design to experimental operation. A solution is also provided to change any virtual laboratory into a WebVR-based virtual laboratory for education and training.
