Abstract In this study, a novel microcirculation chromatography with pulsed amperometric discovery (IC/PAD) system is established for the cyanide in business sewage. For business sewage with complicated substrates, the microstrewing means is leveraged for purification and decoration, and subsequently, the IC/PAD course is utilized to psychoanalyze and accuse the cyanide in the match. Under optimum plight, cyanide exhibits some kind of linearity in the frequency of 1.0–200.0 μg/L, and the perception termination and quantification check of cyanide in business sewage are 0.15 μg/L and 0.5 0 μg/L, respectively. The scold is between 88.6% and 1 08.5%. This mode is highly caring, tenacious and awesome, and calm to manage. It offers recent discrimination for the discovery of cyanide in business sewage. In this case, the insincere-frequent uninterrupted inundate analyzer is to decide business sewage with comprehensive distinction in ammonium propellant major. The spring is compared with the mensuration rise of Nessler's test spectrophotometry. The rise has shown that when the double-stroll regularity of extended overflow analyzer is a manner to simultaneously moderate lofty and blaze concentrations of ammonia packaging gas, there is no important contention compared with the mensuration inference of Nessler's test spectrophotometry. The analysis of the regularity has whole reagents, and harmless and strong transformation. This can optimally decrease the effort intenseness of testers and is valuable of preferment. Index Terms—DE oxidation, industrial wastewater, purification, fuzzy control, simulation.

Abstract The ecological stability of a region and the promotion of its coordinated environmental and economic development depend on habitat quality, which is a key indicator of the territory’s biodiversity capacity. A case study is done in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, to determine how land use changes affect habitat quality. The types of land use in 2030 are simulated based on 2000, 2010, and 2020. The InVEST and CA-Markov models analyze and predict how land use will change in Suzhou. Spatial analysis methods, such as the standard deviation ellipse, the center of gravity analysis, spatial autocorrelation, and random forest models, were used to reveal the spatial and temporal variation characteristics of habitat quality and to analyze its influencing factors. The bare land, building lands, and non-construction lands significantly increased in Suzhou city’s land use types between 2000 and 2030 due to land use changes, while the water bodies and forests gradually decreased. Most of the high-quality habitats in this region are found in the water bodies and the mountains. In contrast, the poor habitat quality in this area is mainly concentrated in urban construction lands. The habitat quality gradually declined over time, and its center of gravity followed the migration path from northeast to southwest. The temporal and spatial distribution of habitat degradation in Suzhou reveals a trend of habitat degradation from downtown to suburban areas. This degradation is most common in mountainous and forest areas where the landscape is highly fragmented. Habitat quality in Suzhou city has changed over time and space due to spatial patterns, socioeconomic factors, land use, and the natural environment, with land use having the most significant impact.

Abstract As plant-specific transcription regulators, YABBYs are involved in plant growth, development and stress responses. However, little information is available about genome-wide screening and identification of OsYABBY-interacting proteins. In this study, phylogenetic relationship, gene structure, protein structure and gene expression profile of eight OsYABBYs were carried out, all of which indicated that OsYABBYs were involved in different developmental processes and had functional differentiation. More importantly, PPI (protein-protein interaction) analysis and molecular docking simulation predicted that WUSCHEL-related homeobox (WOX) proteins might be interacting proteins of OsYABBYs. Yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) and luciferase complementation imaging assays (LCI) further confirmed that OsYABBYs (except for OsYABBY7) could interact with OsWOX3A in vitro and in vivo. In addition, OsYABBY3 and OsYABBY5 also could interact with OsWUS. Taken together, our results provided valuable information for further elucidating OsYABBYs regulation mechanism in improving rice performance.

Abstract The effectiveness of silicon (Si) and silicon-based materials in catalyzing photoelectrochemistry (PEC) CO2 reduction is limited by poor visible light absorption. In this study, we prepared two-dimensional (2D) silicon-based photonic crystals (SiPCs) with circular dielectric pillars arranged in a square array to amplify the absorption of light within the wavelength of approximately 450 nm. By investigating five sets of n + p SiPCs with varying dielectric pillar sizes and periodicity while maintaining consistent filling ratios, our findings showed improved photocurrent densities and a notable shift in product selectivity towards CH4 (around 25% Faradaic Efficiency). Additionally, we integrated platinum nanoparticles, which further enhanced the photocurrent without impacting the enhanced light absorption effect of SiPCs. These results not only validate the crucial role of SiPCs in enhancing light absorption and improving PEC performance but also suggest a promising approach towards efficient and selective PEC CO2 reduction.

Abstract Humic acid is a macromolecular organic compound with active groups that, when applied to the soil, can regulate the storage and release of nutrient elements. The effects of a humic acid application at two application rates (F-1: 15 t·hm −2 and F-2: 30 t·hm −2 ) on soil physicochemical properties and plant growth and yield were compared in field experiments to explore the impact of the humic acid dosage on the soil fertility of aeolian sandy soils. The CEC, EC, pH, organic matter, and available nutrient content were measured in the 0~20 cm and 20~40 cm soil before and after the humic acid application. The results showed that the soil organic matter and available nutrient content increased significantly with an increased humic acid application rate. In the 0~20 cm soil layer, the contents of soil alkaline-hydrolyzable nitrogen, available potassium, and organic matter were the highest in the F-2 treatment, at 24.97, 207.66 mg·kg −1 , and 8.99 g·kg −1 , respectively, which increased by 76%, 66%, and 54% compared with the control treatment. On the other hand, the content of available phosphorus was the highest in the F-1 treatment, at 13.23 mg·kg −1 , which was 38% higher than the control. In the 20~40 cm soil layer, the contents of soil alkaline-hydrolyzable nitrogen, available phosphorus, and available potassium were the highest after the F-2 treatment, at 16.33, 8.51, and 17.14 mg·kg −1 , respectively, which increased by 19%, 113%, and 58% compared with the control. The organic matter content was the highest in the F-1 treatment, at 7.61 g·kg −1 . After the humic acid application, the CEC and EC increased significantly, and the pH decreased. In addition, the growth status (leaf length, tillering number, and chlorophyll content) and yield of the Cyperus plants significantly increased with an increase in the humic acid dosage. In short, adding humic acid can effectively improve the physical and chemical properties of aeolian soils, regulate the nutrient circulation in the soil, and increase the yield and income from ...

Abstract Introduction: To investigate the inhibition properties and structure-activity relationship between monoamine oxidase (MAO) and selected monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs, including selegiline, rasagiline and clorgiline).
Methods: The inhibition effect and molecular mechanism between MAO and MAOIs were identified via the half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) and molecular docking technology.
Results: It was indicated that selegiline and rasagiline were MAO B inhibitors, but clorgiline was MAO-A inhibitor based on the selectivity index (SI) of MAOIs (0.000264, 0.0197 and 14607.143 for selegiline, rasagiline and clorgiline, respectively). The high-frequency amino acid residues of the MAOIs and MAO were Ser24, Arg51, Tyr69 and Tyr407 for MAO-A and Arg42 and Tyr435 for MAO B. The MAOIs and MAO A/B pharmacophores included the aromatic core, hydrogen bond acceptor, hydrogen bond donor-acceptor and hydrophobic core.
Conclusion: This study shows the inhibition effect and molecular mechanism between MAO and MAOIs and provides valuable findings on the design and treatment of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.
