Abstract A gyroscope-free strapdown inertial navigation system (GFSINS) solves the carrier attitude through the reasonable spatial combination of accelerometers, with a particular focus on the precision of angular velocity calculation. This paper conducts an analysis of a twelve-accelerometer configuration scheme and proposes an angular velocity fusion algorithm based on the Kalman filter. To address the sign misjudgment issue that may arise when calculating angular velocity using the extraction algorithm, a sliding window correction method is introduced to enhance the accuracy of angular velocity calculation. Additionally, the data from the integral algorithm and the data from the improved extraction algorithm are fused using Kalman filtering to obtain the optimal estimation of angular velocity. Simulation results demonstrate that this algorithm significantly reduces the maximum value and standard deviation of angular velocity error by one order of magnitude compared to existing algorithms. Experimental results indicate that the algorithm's calculated angle exhibits an average difference of less than 0.5° compared to the angle measured by the laser tracker. This level of accuracy meets the requirements for attitude measurement in the laser scanning projection system.

Abstract The effectiveness of open-domain dialogue systems depends heavily on emotion. In dialogue systems, previous models primarily detected emotions by looking for emotional words embedded in sentences. However, they did not precisely quantify the association of all words with emotions, which has led to a certain bias. To overcome this issue, we propose an emotion tendency perception model. The model uses an emotion encoder to accurately quantify the emotional tendencies of all words. Meanwhile, it uses a shared fusion decoder to equip the decoder with the sentiment and semantic capabilities of the encoder. We conducted extensive evaluations on Empathetic Dialogue. Experimental results demonstrate its efficacy. Compared with the state of the art, our approach has distinctive advantages.

Abstract Conventional nonnegative matrix factorization and its variants cannot separate the noise data space into a clean space and learn an effective low-dimensional subspace from Salt and Pepper noise or Contiguous Occlusion. This paper proposes a weighted nonnegative matrix factorization (WNMF) to improve the robustness of existing nonnegative matrix factorization. In WNMF, a weighted graph is constructed to label the uncorrupted data as 1 and the corrupted data as 0, and an effective matrix factorization model is proposed to recover the noise data and achieve clustering from the recovered data. Extensive experiments on the image datasets corrupted by Salt and Pepper noise or Contiguous Occlusion are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method in image inpainting and clustering.

Abstract Recently, benefitting from the storage and retrieval efficiency of hashing and the powerful discriminative feature extraction capability of deep neural networks, deep cross-modal hashing retrieval has drawn more and more attention. To preserve the semantic similarities of cross-modal instances during the hash mapping procedure, most existing deep cross-modal hashing methods usually learn deep hashing networks with a pairwise loss or a triplet loss. However, these methods may not fully explore the similarity relation across modalities. To solve this problem, in this paper, we introduce a quadruplet loss into deep cross-modal hashing and propose a quadruplet-based deep cross-modal hashing (termed QDCMH) method. Extensive experiments on two benchmark cross-modal retrieval datasets show that our proposed method achieves state-of-the-art performance and demonstrate the efficiency of the quadruplet loss in cross-modal hashing.

Abstract Developmental language disorder (DLD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder with adverse impacts that continue into adulthood. However, its neural bases remain unclear. Here we address this gap by systematically identifying and quantitatively synthesizing neuroanatomical studies of DLD using co-localization likelihood estimation, a recently developed neuroanatomical meta-analytic technique. Analyses of structural brain data (22 peer-reviewed papers, 577 participants) revealed highly consistent anomalies only in the basal ganglia (100% of participant groups in which this structure was examined, weighted by group sample sizes; 99.8% permutation-based likelihood the anomaly clustering was not due to chance). These anomalies were localized specifically to the anterior neostriatum (again 100% weighted proportion and 99.8% likelihood). As expected given the task dependence of activation, functional neuroimaging data (11 peer-reviewed papers, 414 participants) yielded less consistency, though anomalies again occurred primarily in the basal ganglia (79.0% and 95.1%). Multiple sensitivity analyses indicated that the patterns were robust. The meta-analyses elucidate the neuroanatomical signature of DLD, and implicate the basal ganglia in particular. The findings support the procedural circuit deficit hypothesis of DLD, have basic research and translational implications for the disorder, and advance our understanding of the neuroanatomy of language.

Abstract Thiram, a typical fungicide pesticide, is widely used in agricultural production. The presence of thiram residues is not only due to over-utilization, but is also primarily attributed to long-term accumulation. However, there is a paucity of information regarding the impact of prolonged utilization of thiram at low doses on the gut microbiota, particularly with respect to gut fungi. Our objective is to explore the effect of thiram on broilers from the perspective of gut microbiota, which includes both bacteria and fungi. We developed a long-term low-dose thiram model to simulate thiram residue and employed 16 S rRNA and ITS gene sequencing to investigate the diversity and profile of gut microbiota between group CC (normal diet) and TC (normal diet supplemented with 5 mg/kg thiram). The results revealed that low doses of thiram had a detrimental effect on broiler's growth performance, resulting in an approximate reduction of 669.33 g in their final body weight at day 45. Our findings indicated that low-dose thiram had a negative impact on the gut bacterial composition, leading to a notable reduction in the abundance of Merdibacter, Paenibacillus, Macrococcus, Fournierella, and Anaeroplasma (p < 0.05) compared to the CC group. Conversely, the relative level of Myroides was significantly increased (p < 0.05) in response to thiram exposure. In gut fungi, thiram significantly enhanced the diversity and richness of gut fungal populations (p < 0.05), as evidenced by the notable increase in alpha indices, i.e. ACE (CC: 346.49 ± 117.27 vs TC: 787.27 ± 379.14, p < 0.05), Chao 1 (CC: 317.63 ± 69.13 vs TC: 504.85 ± 104.50, p < 0.05), Shannon (CC: 1.28 ± 1.19 vs TC: 5.39 ± 2.66, p < 0.05), Simpson (CC: 0.21 ± 0.21 vs TC: 0.78 ± 0.34, p < 0.05). Furthermore, the abundance of Ascomycota, Kickxellomycota, and Glomeromycota were significantly increased (p < 0.05) by exposure to thiram, conversely, the level of Basidiomycota was decreased (p < 0.05) in the TC group compared to the CC group. Overall, this study demonstrated that low doses of thiram induced significant changes in the composition and abundance of gut microbiota in broilers, with more pronounced changes observed in the gut fungal community as compared to the gut bacterial community. Importantly, our findings further emphasize the potential risks associated with low dose thiram exposure and have revealed a novel discovery indicating that significant alterations in gut fungi may serve as the crucial factor contributing to the detrimental effects exerted by thiram residues.

Abstract The plant endophytic bacteria are a great source of nature insecticides. However, no such endophytic bacteria have been found in sugarcane, to address this gap, we isolated and identified a strain of Serratia marcescens with moderate insecticidal activity from sugarcane. Taken armyworm Mythimna separata as example, the mortality rates of oral infection and injection infection were 47.06 % and 91 %, respectively. The SM has significant negative affect on the growth, development, and reproduction of M. separata. After determining that these insecticidal substances, 33 potential virulence proteins were screened through the identification and prediction of bacterial proteins. Later we confirmed serralysin was a vital toxic protein from SM that caused M. separata death by prokaryotic expression. In addition, we also found that the intestinal tissue cells infected with SM or serralysin were severely diseased, which may be a major factor in M. separata demise. Finally, through gene expression level, protein molecular docking, we found the aminopeptidase-N would be one of the potential receptors of serralysin. Taken together, our findings indicate that sugarcane endophyte S. marcescens may be beneficial for pest control in sugarcane and explain its insecticidal mechanism. This study provides new ideas and materials for the biological control of pests.
