Abstract Objective: To screen abnormally expressed lncRNAs in peripheral blood mononuclear cells from patients with COPD. Methods:The peripheral blood of 3 COPD patients and 3 normal controls were collected from our hospital, mononuclear cells were isolated, RNA was extracted and then transcriptome sequencing was performed. The expression difference between the two groups of samples was calculated based on p <0.05 and | log2FC |> 1.Plot the difference lncRNA heat map and volcano map. The Lncpro database may predict mRNAs regulated by differential lncRNA, and perform the GO function and KEGG signaling clustering. Results: There were 67 lncRNAs between the COPD group and the control group that met the difference of p <0.05 and | log2FC |> 1, of which 33 were up-regulated and 34 were down-regulated. Between the two groups. The target genes are mainly enriched in GO functions: regulatory functions of multicellular biological processes, regulatory functions of development processes, structured morphogenesis functions, system development functions, and development process functions. Target genes are mainly enriched in KEGG signaling pathways: multi-species apoptotic pathway, TGF-β signaling pathway, complement and coagulation cascade pathway, colorectal cancer pathway and apoptosis pathway. Conclusion: Our results provide general information and possible regulatory functions and pathways of lncRNA expression changes in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of COPD, which may help clarify the underlying mechanism of COPD.

Abstract Traditional settlement space contains regional, natural, economic, historical, and cultural characteristics. The spatial texture serves as a material carrier of rural life and production and a vital landscape resource for the traditional villages. Traditional rural settlements have formed relatively unique and stable spatial form genes over time, which contain the “order” and “law” of spatial creation traditionally established in villages. The metropolis erodes traditional village spaces due to fast socioeconomic development and urbanization. In addition, the lack of adequate recognition and continuation of spatial texture in current mainstream village construction planning methods also limits the ability of villages to adapt to environmental changes and promote self-repair and adjustment, which, in turn, causes the gradual disappearance of their distinctive appearance. The reason is the need for more quantitative research and planning on the genes controlling the evolution of spatial texture morphology in traditional villages. They are faced with issues such as blind construction and development, a fracture in the rural characteristic spatial texture inheritance, and a loss of the distinctive vernacular landscape. Adopting an objective and in-depth approach to the cognition of traditional village space texture is an essential demand for the preservation, optimization, and renewal of the spatial appearance of rural settlements. We use the spatial genes of village settlements as its starting point. It then uses the spatial texture of village settlements connected to gene information mining as its specific method. We investigate the autogenous law of traditional village spatial form and determine its application using the CityEngine parametric platform, digitalization, and 3D visualization as the applied technical means. The feasibility and implementation path of the parameterization technique are explored using the traditional village of Xiaoxi in western Hunan Province as an example. We effectively promote the ...

Abstract In multiview data clustering, consistent or complementary information in the multiview data can achieve better clustering results. However, the high dimensions, lack of labeling, and redundancy of multiview data certainly affect the clustering effect, posing a challenge to multiview clustering. A clustering algorithm based on multiview feature selection clustering (MFSC), which combines similarity graph learning and unsupervised feature selection, is designed in this study. During the MFSC implementation, local manifold regularization is integrated into similarity graph learning, with the clustering label of similarity graph learning as the standard for unsupervised feature selection. MFSC can retain the characteristics of the clustering label on the premise of maintaining the manifold structure of multiview data. The algorithm is systematically evaluated using benchmark multiview and simulated data. The clustering experiment results prove that the MFSC algorithm is more effective than the traditional algorithm.

Abstract Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 is highly contagious and has the potential to cause nosocomial infections, has placed a strong pressure on worldwide healthcare systems over the last years. Nosocomial infection has many influencing factors, among which the unreasonable operation of nurses accounts for 30.0%-50.0%. Therefore, strengthening the professional skill training of nurses is of great significance in reducing the nosocomial infection rate.
Objective: This research aimed to explore the effectiveness of the training of nosocomial infection control on the competencies of specialist nurses under the background of the new crown epidemic based on competency-based theory.
Design: This was a retrospective study.
Setting: This study was performed in Dongfang Hospital, Affiliated to Tongji University.
Participants: A total of 84 key nurses, each of them recommended by one department from June 2020 to June 2021, were chosen as study subjects, and they could actively participate in the training.
Interventions: Nurses received systematic and standardized training based on competency-based theory under the background of coronavirus disease 2019, including focus group meeting, training of core emergency capability, teaching training and contingency plan for COVID-19 infection.
Primary outcome measures: (1) core competence (2) job fit (3) core emergency response for major infectious diseases, and (4) nurses' satisfaction. All these primary outcomes can reflect the competencies of specialist nurses after training.
Results: The scores in critical thinking and scientific research, clinical nursing, ethics and legal practice, professional development, education consulting and professional knowledge, professional skills, comprehensive quality, and professional ability of nurses training were higher than those before (P = .000). After training, the scores in relevant matters needing attention (international rescue, bioterrorist attacks, and infectious disease emergencies after natural disasters), filling in the People's Republic of China Infectious Disease Report Card, and the scope of reporting infectious disease emergencies were all higher than before (P = .000). All nurses had relatively high satisfaction with the curriculum setting and assessment form, with satisfaction of 100.0%, followed by training duration, with satisfaction of 92.86%.
Conclusion: Under the background of coronavirus disease 2019, based on competence-based theory, training of nosocomial infection control specialist nurses could improve their core competence, job fit, and core emergency response capabilities, with high satisfaction. Under the background of the normalization of the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, the training model based on competence-based theory of nurses is worth promoting.

Abstract Measuring, analyzing, reducing, and optimizing distortions in map projections is important in cartography. In this study, we introduced a novel image-based angular distortion metric based on the previous spherical great circle arcs-based metric. Images with predefined patterns were used to generate distorted images using mapping software. The generated distorted images with known patterns were then exploited to calculate the proposed angular distortion metric. The mapping software performed the underlying transformation of map projections. Therefore, there was no direct explicit dependence on the forward equations of the map projections in our proposed metric. However, there were fairly large computation errors in the ordinary image-based approach without special correction. To reduce the error, we introduced surface-fitting-based noise reduction in our approach. We established and solved systems of linear equations based on bivariate polynomial functions in the process of noise reduction. Sufficient experiments were made to validate the proposed image-based metric and the accompanying noise reduction approach. In the experiment, the NASA G.Projector was employed as the mapping software for evaluating more than 200 map projections. Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed image-based approach and surface fitting-based noise reduction are feasible and practical for the evaluation of the angular distortion of map projections.

Abstract Undifferentiated carcinoma with osteoclast-like giant cells (UCOGC) is a rare variant of carcinoma with unique radiological and pathological features. This unusual carcinoma has been reported in a variety of organs and pancreas is the most frequently involved anatomical site. UCOGC of pancreas attains a relatively indolent clinical behavior and should be distinguished from ordinary pancreatobiliary adenocarcinoma. This paper presents the first case of UCOGC involving the entire segment of common bile duct (CBD) and common hepatic duct (CHD) without extending to the pancreatic tissue. Getting familiar with its clinical, radiological and pathological characters can help establish accurate diagnosis despite the occurrence of an unusual location.

Abstract BACKGROUND: It has been well accepted that lactic acid bacteria (LAB) are the main bacterial genera present during the brewing of Chinese rice wine (CRW). LAB plays a decisive role in the flavor quality of CRW; however, its application in CRW has previously been overlooked. Therefore, effects of different LAB as co‐fermenter on the flavor characteristics of CRW were investigated. RESULTS: Co‐fermentation of LAB increased the utilization rate of reducing sugar, concentration of lactic acid, amino acid nitrogen and total acidity, as well as the content of volatile flavor compounds. Different LAB doses had little effect on the flavor profiles of CRW, but the species of LAB greatly affected the flavor characteristic. The flavor of CRW co‐fermented with Lactococcus lactis was characterized by long‐chain fatty acid ethyl esters, while co‐fermentation with Weissella confusa highlighted the ethyl esters of low molecular weight and short carbon chains in the resultant CRW. Alcohol compounds were dominant in the CRW co‐fermented using Pediococcus pentosaceus. CONCLUSION: The co‐fermentation of LAB increased the number of volatile flavor compounds, especially esters. LAB exhibited great potential in the application of CRW industry to enrich the flavor characteristics and enhance the flavor diversity of the final product. © 2023 Society of Chemical Industry.

Abstract Background: Recent observations raised concern that the intravenous recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rt-PA) may result in damage to stroke patients caused by small artery occlusion (SAO). Thus, we perform a protocol for meta-analysis to investigate the efficacy and safety of intravenous thrombolysis with rt-PA in SAO-patients.
Methods: The search-style electronic libraries, including Pubmed, Embase, the Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Wanfang Data, VIP Chinese Journals, and China Biomedical Literature Service System are used for document retrieval in June 2021 with no restrictions on language. The risk of bias in include articles will be assessed using the Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool. We perform the meta-analysis by Stata version 10.0 software and calculated the statistics using the inverse variance statistical method. Binary outcomes are presented as Mantel-Haenszel-style risk ratios with 95% confidence interval. Continuous outcomes are reported as mean differences.
Results: The results of the article will be shown in a peer-reviewed journal.
Conclusion: Intravenous rt-PA may be effective and safe in SAO-patients.
